The Dalai Lama says, “Once a year, go someplace you’ve never been before.” I try to apply his words of wisdom to all parts of my life, and more than once a year. My sense of curiosity and desire to explore and learn fuels all that I do. My exposure to different cultures, business styles and people has shaped who I am today — and I’m always looking for the next challenging endeavor.
My experiences range from building the social media presence of an international startup in Helsinki, to fundraising and marketing for national nonprofits, implementing new media strategies for clients at large PR firms, and more.
Now based in Austin, Texas, I spend my days creating powerful, mission-driven language on the Strategic Partnerships team at EdTech powerhouse Civitas Learning.
When I’m not knee-deep in words, I’m day tripping around Texas, getting lost in a book, and collaborating and innovating with my partner’s lifestyle brand, Rothera Cycling.
